TINTORETTO ON DISPLAY IN LECCO

Just a few days ago, it was announced that starting from December 6, the PALAZZO delle PAURE, in the very center of LECCO, will host a prestigious painting by TINTORETTO.
The painting on display represents THE ANNUNCIATION, a majestic masterpiece that is connected to the Christmas season. The event promises to be unique for the city of Lecco and for art lovers, especially considering that the painting has only been exhibited three times in the last 100 years!

The exhibition is organized with the valuable collaboration of the parish of San Nicolò in Lecco, with the aim of offering the city a reflection on the Christian period of Christmas. Among the organizers stands out Monsignor Davide Milani, the new provost of the parish of San Nicolò of the Community. The initiative, sponsored by the Municipality of Lecco, is entitled “The Mystery in Art.”

The painting measures 277.5 x 171.5 x 3.5 cm and will be displayed in the photo gallery room of the Palazzo delle Paure from December 6 to February 2, 2020. The vernissage will start on December 5 at 6:00 pm, on the eve of the patronal feast of San Nicolò.
